Effective immediately and until further notice: All Fields (Town or School Property and including the High School and Deerfield Tracks), Playgrounds, Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts are CLOSED

The following public buildings are closed to the public: Town Hall, Public Library, Council on Aging, ICC/Youth & Family Services, Carby Street which includes Public Works, Building Department and Economic Development, Recreation Department including the pool.  

A green drop box is located in front of Town Hall for residents to drop off payments and other correspondence.

Friday Nights @ Thurston

 Thurston Middle School DanceFriday Nights @ Thurston  (formerly Thurston Middle School Dances) is a collaboration between Thurston Middle School and Westwood Youth & Family Services. Each year 5-6 dances take place, featuring activities such as dodge ball and basketball tournaments, Minute to Win It games, and Bouncy Houses. High school Mentors staff each dance, acting as chaperones and role models for middle school students. Dances are open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

Dances take place on Fridays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Entrance fee is $10.
