Effective immediately and until further notice: All Fields (Town or School Property and including the High School and Deerfield Tracks), Playgrounds, Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts are CLOSED

The following public buildings are closed to the public: Town Hall, Public Library, Council on Aging, ICC/Youth & Family Services, Carby Street which includes Public Works, Building Department and Economic Development, Recreation Department including the pool.  

A green drop box is located in front of Town Hall for residents to drop off payments and other correspondence.

Westwood Sign MentorsWho: Juniors & Seniors only

What: Thurston Middle School Dances aims to provide safe, fun dances for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade middle school students. Mentors serve as chaperones and role models for the middle school students. Other responsibilities include helping with set up, clean up and facilitating other structured activities such as basketball and dodgeball tournaments. 

When: Thurston Middle School dances occur approximately 5-6 Fridays throughout the year.  Mentors volunteer from 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM on the Friday evenings they are scheduled.

To become a Thurston Middle School Dances Mentor you must fill out a Mentor Application, conduct a short interview, and attend one Orientation Training.
