Effective immediately and until further notice: All Fields (Town or School Property and including the High School and Deerfield Tracks), Playgrounds, Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts are CLOSED

The following public buildings are closed to the public: Town Hall, Public Library, Council on Aging, ICC/Youth & Family Services, Carby Street which includes Public Works, Building Department and Economic Development, Recreation Department including the pool.  

A green drop box is located in front of Town Hall for residents to drop off payments and other correspondence.

Westwood Youth & Family Services’ Mentor Scholarship is open to current seniors who have volunteered for the Mentor Program for a minimum of two years and who are in good standing with the Mentor Program. The applications will be reviewed by Westwood Youth & Family Services staff. Reliability, positive role-model qualities, and overall commitment to Mentor Program volunteer responsibilities will be considered in selecting the scholarship recipient(s). The 2019-2020 Mentor Scholarship will be available in March!

Applications are due in late April to the WY&FS’ high school office in Room A106 or our office at the Islington Community Center at 288 Washington Street.

*Applications may be put under the door of A106 if the office is locked.*
