Effective immediately and until further notice: All Fields (Town or School Property and including the High School and Deerfield Tracks), Playgrounds, Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts are CLOSED

The following public buildings are closed to the public: Town Hall, Public Library, Council on Aging, ICC/Youth & Family Services, Carby Street which includes Public Works, Building Department and Economic Development, Recreation Department including the pool.  

A green drop box is located in front of Town Hall for residents to drop off payments and other correspondence.

Hula Hoop GamesWho: All high school students, grades 9-12.

What: Friends Network thoughtfully matches each Mentor (“Big Friend”) with a student in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade (“Little Friend”).  Pairs meet to play games, talk, engage in art activities, and have fun together.

When: The Big Friend/Little Friend pairs meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at the Council on Aging from either 5:15 PM – 6:15 PM or 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM from November – April. Friends Network Mentors must be able to keep this weekly commitment as their little friend will be relying on them to be there!

Please note that we can only accept as many "Big Friend" Mentors, as there are "Little Friend" applicants. "Big Friend" Mentors will be interviewed and thoughtfully matched with a "Little Friend".
