Dog License Information & Form
Dog licensing may be completed in person at the Town Clerk’s office, by mail or online. Please provide a copy of the rabies vaccination certificate showing the expiration date and proof of spaying/neutering (if applicable and not already on file).
All dogs, ages six months and older, must be licensed on or before March 31st, of each year. Failure to do so, may result in a $25.00 late fee for each unlicensed dog, per §184-10, C. (1), of the Town of Westwood General Bylaws and MGL c.140§141.
Licensing is based on the calendar year and begins on January 1 through March 31 of each year.
If you have more than 5 dogs this is considered a kennel and a special permit has to be obtained before licensing your dogs. Please click here to start the process
