SCHOLARSHIPS: Available to Westwood residents in financial need. To inquire about scholarship options contact Richard Adams, radams@westwoodma.gov or 781-355-8098 on or before March 1. The deadline to submit paperwork for a scholarship is March 4. Applications received after March 4 will be reviewed on a case-by-case exception basis.
Thank you for your interest in Westwood Recreation Summer programs. Below are financial assistance forms which needs to be completed and returned to Westwood Recreation prior to enrollment. In order to ensure you application and registration is processed on the first day of registration, you are encouraged to complete and return the forms no later than noon on March 4, 2026. Registrations begin on March 14th at 10:00 AM. You will receive a call from Westwood Recreation after registration begins on March 14h at 10am and we will register your program requests while on the phone. While returning your completed forms, please ensure that you include a phone number that you will be reachable at 10:00 AM on March 14th.
Included in the attachments are:
- Program Registration Form: Used to select the programs that you wish to register for. All family members can register on one form. Please refer to our brochure at www.westwoodrec.com for program information. Registration begins on March 14th at 10:00am. For all programs, please include grade entering in Sept 2026.
- Westwood Rec Scholarship Application: Used to apply for a scholarship from Westwood Recreation. Please note that Scholarships are only available to Westwood residents. Also note that only certain programs are eligible for assistance. Programs run by some contractors are not eligible.
- Westwood Community Chest Campership Application: This application is for the Westwood Community Chest Campership program. If you are applying for a scholarship with Westwood Recreation, you must also apply for a campership grant with the Westwood Community Chest. Please complete this form and return to Westwood Recreation. Westwood Recreation will forward to WCC.
- Please note that applicants may be asked to pay for a portion of their balance if the total balance requested exceeds budgeted funds.
- Applications for scholarship will not be considered if you register and pay in full on-line.
When returning these forms mentioned above, please also include a copy of your driver’s license.
