Annual Enrollment will run from Wednesday, April 1 - Friday, May 1, 2026

This is your time to make changes to your health and dental plans, or to enroll in a plan or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

All changes/enrollments will be effective as of July 1, 2026.

Please note that you must re-enroll in a Flexible Spending Account every year, but if you do not want to make any changes to your health or dental insurance plans, you do not need to take any action.

However, due to rate increases, employees are encouraged to actively shop around and evaluate their options.

F27 Changes:

Effective July 1, 2026, the GIC will no longer cover GLP-1 medications when prescribed specifically for weight loss. This change is being made at the state level and applies to all GIC plans.

GIC Health Plans- Links to all the GIC insurance carriers

Links/information to search for providers within each of the available plans:

  • Wellpoint- Click on ‘Basic search as a guest’ in the middle of the page. Then select ‘Medical Plan or Network’ and ‘Massachusetts,’ the rest will fill in automatically. Then click ‘Continue.’ Once you’re on the search page, it’s best to keep things general, so just putting in ‘Boston, MA’ in the zip code box and then clicking on Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Hospital etc. (depending on what you’re looking for). This brings you to the full list, and then you can search within that list.
  • Mass General Brigham
  • Harvard Pilgrim Quality- It will first prompt you to enter a location
  • Harvard Pilgrim Explorer- It will first prompt you to enter a location
