It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Town’s financial web page. The staff and I are proud of the information and services we make available to you on these pages. We have continually been recognized for excellence in financial reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. Serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Town's financial management team, the Finance Director monitors expenditure and collection practices; reviews and ensures reconciliation procedures are followed; and recommends improvements in the accounting, collection and financial management practices.
Additionally, the Finance Director oversees the annual audit and assembles and presents to the Board of Selectmen an expenditure/revenue forecast, a balanced annual operating budget and a five-year capital improvement program.
