Title 5 Alert

Are you now connected to Town Sewer? Please read the following:
Title 5 requires that cesspools and septic tanks be properly abandoned when a home is connected to the municipal sewer. This requires the owner of the property to apply in writing to the Board of Health. Pumping the system is required. A cesspool must be filled with clean sand after pumping. The bottom of a septic tank needs to be ruptured, and then filled with clean sand. Please call the Board of Health office for the application packet at 320-1026/1027.
