Westwood Community Trails program recruits and trains volunteers, organizes and promotes trail programs and activities, and encourages Westwood residents to explore and enjoy our outdoor resources in a fun, safe, healthy, community-building manner.

Take A Hike

Martha Jones Trail, 1 mile hike over flat terrain
Meet in parking lot to left of Martha Jones School

Saturday, September 7, 2019 - 10:00 am
Noanet Peak, 3-4 mile hike over hilly terrain
Meet in parking lot next to Powissett Lodge in Hale Reservation

Lyman Pond, 1-2 mile hike over flat terrain
Park at Westwood Council on Aging/Senior Center near the baseball field

Saturday, November 2, 2019 - 9:00 am
Two Peak Hike, 6-10 mile hike over hilly terrain
Park at Hale Reservation's Summer Club parking lot off Dover Road

Adopt a Trail

Interested in helping maintain some of Westwood’s scenic routes?  Consider Adopting a Trail! The Westwood Community Trails committee is looking for individuals, families or groups who would be interested in keeping trails clean and doing light trimming (handheld tools only).  We’ll help you get started on one of the trails that needs a little attention.  For more information send an email to westwoodcommunitytrails@gmail.com.
